    Hi guys.
I'm new here and need some help with rotating a video file by 90 degrees.
It is an *.MP4 video file that was taken by an iPhone 5.

    Here are the video specifications:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

*If any additional info is needed please post a comment and I'll post it.
**Excuse me in advance for the poor language, I'm not an English speaker.

Freemake video converter(be sure deselect all toolbar addons when installing), load your mp4, click edit, rotate, convert to a new mp4.

    Or avidemux.

Or any other good video editor.

Or use the search function and search for rotate video.

    Hi Baldrick. thanks for commenting.

Will using one of these tools degrade the video quality? and if it will, by how much? (will it even be noticeable to a naked eye?)
because... well, the video looks awful as it is...
(I know filming it from scratch is the best way to go here, but this video is kinda important to me, so it's not really an option)

Either way you rotate it you're gonna lose. One way, loses size, the other stretches. Hint: Always use landscape orientation on video. Same thing for a camcorder, digicam, or DSLR.

    Hi budwzr,
Don't really know what you mean by "landscape orientation".
I'll get right on it using one of the suggested tools and report back on the results.

Photo/digital image horizontal size larger than vertical size = Landscape (as in a "landscape painting").

Vertical size larger than horizontal size = Portrait (as in a "portrait painting")
