Having problems with IMGBURN freezing midway through a DVD Burning session, it responds slowly and the locks the disck in the tray......Doing a quick search on the net it seems its a common problem. and that IMGBURN Is no longer a decent burning tool. SO can you learned chaps recommend an easy to use burning program that is as good as IMG used to be and also can be used by a numpty like me BTW my browser is Firefox and not IE.....

Thread: IMG Burning problems
Freezing is not an issue with imgburn, something else in the system is the cause.
Review running system tasks
Run malwarebytes scan
Defrag the harddrive
Then consider changing out cables and drive used to burn
And include media brand being used, some are noted for issues.
I did see some freezing with ImgBurn earlier this year.
It was not program related - the drive was dying.
OP: check the log, and watch closely how imgburn fills the program buffer and drive buffer. If both do not stay near 100% during the burn, the flow of data is corrupted or resources are being used somewhere else (like antivirus, antimalware or some other software). You can also see what programs run at start that aren't needed and turn those off. Many programs set themselves to run on startup that aren't needed (printer programs, search engine programs, etc) and can be turned off.;/ l ,[____], Its a Jeep thing,
