    Dear all,

I have a graph which plays MPEG-2 file such this:
File Source (Async.) -> MPEG-2 Splitter -> Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder -> Video Renderer

I tried to use IMediaSeeking::SetRate() to play faster/slower but the function didn't work. I googled a lot but couldn't solve this.

Do you have any idea/recommendation/experience on this?

    Thanks
    Regards

I am not a programmer, and I don't use "Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder", but here go my 2 cents anyway,
at least try a different MPEG decoder and see if the change makes some difference.

Because some of them take very seriously the limitations defined in the MPEG video specs regarding framerates, and so they simply refuse displaying the video at any playback speed that differs from 23.976, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50,59.94 or 60 frames per second.
