  1. I have an low resolution 4:3 torrent which I need to convert to interlaced 720 x 480 (4:3)

    This is my script:

    Code:
    QTGMC(Preset="Super Fast")

    nnedi3_rpow2(2, cshift="Lanczos4Resize", fwidth=720, fheight=480)

    ConvertFPS(59.94)

    AssumeTFF()
    SeparateFields() SelectEvery(4,0,3) Weave()
    I know I need AssumeTFF() before QTGMC if the video was interlaced which it isn't. But do I need the underline text where it is just now? In what scenario would I need that line if at all?

  2. If you want your interlaced video to be TFF use AssumeTFF() before interlacing. If you want your interlaced video to be BFF use AssumeBFF() before interlacing. If you don't specify which you want you will get the default, BFF.

    Please start using correct terminology.

    AFAIK at least, there is no such thing as a "progressive torrent"

    And, why the hell would you want to do that anyway?
    Have a good one,

    Was wondering the same thing. If it's to join with another video, it shouldn't matter that one is progressive and another interlaced (for DVD, anyway).

    I can only guess instead of a crappy 180p(what's low, anyway?) video they want a super crappy 480i video.

    There is progressive downloading of torrents. Obviously he just meant a progressive video downloaded via torrent.

    (progressive downloading) So you can start watching the video before it completes downloading.

    Or maybe you were referring to the interlacing of a progressive source. For DVD, or other analog transmission, of course.

    Don't do this.
    Just leave it alone.

    And if it's available officially, buy it.
