I'm editing an OTA capture and part of it has audio off sync. I re-recorded that part with VLC and Mediainfo shows "Delay relative to video: 814ms". What free tools can fix this and keep the 6 channel audio? I tried Avidemux and it messes up the conversion with no sound except for a few seconds of choppy sound here and there, and the video stays on 1 frame etc. I don't know which muxing format settings to use though. Simply converting the clip with Any Video Converter fixed the sync but it only has 2 channel audio. VSDC Converter to avi H.264 keeps 6 channels but didn't fix the sync (Mediainfo now shows Delay relative to video: 460ms). I could try FFMPEG command line but used it just once before and need all the steps. Finally I tried converting to avi with VSDC Converter then fixing sync with Virtualdub and that worked. Steps

Also I'm using VSDC for editing. It lets me choose "no audio," "mono," or "stereo" (no 6 channel option) when starting a project but there is a "Channels: original" audio option in conversion. I chose that and AC3, 48000, 384 (video=H.264 avi) but Mediainfo shows 2 channels instead of 6 like the raw so it looks like VSDC doesn't support 6 channel? Strange since their converter supports it. I can use that converter to do the editing except for adding transitions. Am I doing something wrong or is there a free HD editor that keeps 6 channel audio?
