I notice that when authoring 4:3 videos, when I play the Bluray on my player, the videos play in widescreen (stretched). I have to press the aspect ratio button on my TV to get 4:3. A friend told me that in the MultiAVCHD transcode settings for each file, if I set the resize option to 720 x 480 (4:3) then the videos will play in 4:3 automatically. I told him that I don't want to do that as it then re-encodes every video losing quality and that it takes 50 mins per file to do so instead of 15 minutes in total to mux author several videos to a Bluray structure.
He's saying that it doesn't re-encode but I think it does due to the time it takes. What do you guys think?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!
