    Hi!

Probably others can answer more in detail, I'm no expert. But these are my experiences:
Concerning the [320p], [720p] and so on: the higher the number, the better the quality and the bigger the file => the longer the download time. Some of them will be saved as a *.flv, some as *.mp4.

Concerning the [HQ160] and so on: I don't know this officially, just tested it: The downloaded file is way smaller than the [320p] version, so I think, the quality is much lower.

Any experts here, who can correct or confirm this?

  5. Thank you LoWi. I tried another shorter Youtube with similar video streams available.

This is the file size I got downloaded:

    [480p] in flv = 544MB
    [Medium] in mp4 = 310MB
    [HQ5] in flv = 166MB

I watch the video files and cannot really see the difference of these video file. Can you please tell me how to compare the video qualit? I am kind of confuse.

Thank you very much for your help

Unless you see 720p or 1080p then the [Medium] Full Movie).mp4 is the highest.
The others are for audio. Say you want the best audio for a song track then go for the [HQ141] Full Movie).mp4 and convert it to mp3.
