  1. Hello!
I have a problem with MKVMerge. Caught an MKV file working perfectly, I can extract the audio and H.264 would like to put it. Until then it's all right. The problem is the time to unite again H.264 with audio. I can create the MKV, but the video gets smaller and loses all audio synch. Can anyone help?
    Thanks!

  2. wild guess: your input file has a vfr video stream
So you would also need to extract and later multiplex the time codes associated with that stream.

other than that, no clue without more detailed informations, about the input and what you want to archive,...

  3. Do you need to extract the video/audio first? You can add multiple files to MKVMergeGUI and select just the video and audio etc you want to keep, then save that as a new MKV. As long as you don't specify a frame rate yourself, MKVMergeGUI should leave it unaltered. MKVMergeGUI can open lots of other file types (MP4 AVI etc) so there's no need to extract the audio/video from them first.
