    good luck with that. other than technician hardware/firmware modified versions, u.s. sony's were never hackable.

    1) Go back in time.
    2) Don't buy Sony or Samsung.

    ZERO Sony BD players sold in the USA can be made region free. NONE!

    We've had one report that ONE Samsung BD player can be made region free, but I wouldn't bet my house on it as the poster just basically said "it worked" and provided no proof. Nobody else in North America ever claimed to be able to do it.
