About the progressive to interlaced

i have a footage is HD XDCAM 25p, but when i put into FCP version 7.0.3 will be jitter problem. Always return back from my client, and can't to solve this problem. In Mac Pro easy setup only had 25i or 50i interlaced. When facing the pan shot must had jitter. i had try to put it flicker or de-interlaced or convert file to 25i. All can't to solve it.

I'm not familiar with that camera's output, but if it's interlaced, the jitter during panning you refer to may be caused by field order being incorrectly handled in your software. Look for an option in FCP where you can specify something like Top Field First (TFF) vs. Bottom Field First (BFF).
