    I have an MKV that I've made, with chapters included. I used mkvmerge to do it. Whenever I try to put subtitles in, it makes the video stutter, and it erases the chapter names that I've made for each marker. The video plays smoothly if I just include the chapter file though.

    Has anyone else ever had this problem, and is there a fix?

    It's in ASS format, and I use Media Player Classic.
