For one of my 24" monitor 1920X1200, I always play my 1280X720 movie @ 1600X900 (+125%). SMPlayer and VLC can be configured to always play @ 125%, however both players are terrible (in seeking) when playing **quality .TS (soccer matches).

MPC-HC and MPC-BE can play those .TS video perfectly (no seeking issue), however video/Frame/Zoom size options in MPC-HC/MPC-BE are 50%/100%/200%. I can manually drag to enlarge the video/Frame/Zoom size to about +125%, but every time I drop a new video (1280X720) to the player that's playing in +125%, it automatically returns to 1280X720.

    **video h264/TS resolution 1280*720 fps:59.995 bitrate 4000 kbps scan Progressive audio AC-3 384 Kbps 2 channels size 3.5 GB

    MPC-HC/MPC-BE

    1) playing video 1280X720
    2) manually change/drag/enlarge video to 1600X900 (+125%)
    3) while video is still playing, drop a new video (1280X720) to the player
    4) player now automatically returns to 1280X720

    Help!

    For MPC-HC/MPC-BE :
Use the number 9 key on your keyboard (the one on the Numpad) to increase zoom. The number 1 key will do the opposite.

Alternatively, you can remux your ts files to mkv with MKVMergeGUI and set "Display width/height" to 1600x900.

Yes, it does when you just open the MPC-HC without video...but as soon as you drop a video in it, it returns to the video's default size, which in my case 1280X720!

gotcha. why not enable the option to start all videos in fullscreen and then not worry about it.
