  1. I'm new to these forums and would greatly appreciate help. I film a lot of video with my Sony HDTV camcorder and I'm constantly transferring the .mts files from the camcorder to an external hard drive to free up space on the camcorder.

I like watching the videos on my tv but I hate burning the videos to DVD due to time required to do so.
My Sony blu-ray player has a USB port which I use to connect the external drive. The player plays .mts files but it pauses 1-2 seconds btw files, which I find annoying.

Is there another solution that would allow me to watch mts files on the tv without burning DVDs?

I am willing to buy any hardware for a solution. I was thinking a network wifi hard drive and a western digital tv live might be a solution.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Joe
