Please be nice I've searched but I can't seem to find a program that can batch add subtitles to files.
What I want is to have several files with their own subtitle file and then be able to add them all at once without having to do one at a time like I've been doing with MKVMerge/MKVinfo.

Thread: Batch Subtitles
You could write a batch script for mkvmerge. BUT the files must have similar names or it will be very difficult. Like video01.mkv, video01.srt
Hi, Baldrick, I've got the same question. In my case, the files are of .avi and the corresponding subtitle is of .srt. They have got same filename e,g xyz_some title.avi, xyz_some title.srt and the next files are named like xyz_different title.avi, xyz_different title.srt etc.
On searching this forum I got few instructions so I did the following:
1. Opened mkvmerge and inserted the following code into command line options:
FOR %%A IN (*.avi) DO mkvmerge -o "remux-%%~nA.mkv" "%%~A" "%%~dpnA.srt"
2. Added all the files into the program and copied the resulting command lines from command line window and pasted in a text file.
3. Renamed .text file .bat
But nothing happened; A cmd window pops up for a second and disappears. I was definitely doing something wrong. I checked the link where you posted the instruction. But I am sorry to say that this noob didn't quite got the instructions to work :3
Any help? Probably step by step? Thanks!
I figured out the problem. Thanks
