Hello guys, longtime reader, first time question-asker-er.
I'm using Xvid4PSP 6.0.4 to convert videos for PSP. The problem is, some of the files are too quiet.
Can Xvid4PSP automatically raise the volume if a source is too quiet, and leave it alone if the volume is fine to begin with? Sort of like Normalizing to 89 dB, or Replaygain Track Gain, or something?
The program seems to have something like that: the Channels and Loudness filter. There's even a button to scan the volume. The problem is, I can't seem to get it to work.
Can anyone give me some advice? Is there a way to set it so all files encoded wind up the same general volume?
Thanks a bunch,
- Short
