  1. Hello everyone! I've noticed that when I try to convert a .mkv file or a blue ray rip that the video and audio do not sync.

    MrC, the programs author, normally will answer these questions. At a minimum you should provide the log,
    it usually ends up in the same folder as the DVD output.

    I've had better luck converting blu ray to dvd-video using BD Rebuilder. AVStoDVD has given me problems in the past when the blu ray had DTS HD-MA audio.

    I sometimes had sync problems with this program, and it was generally because avstodvd was selecting one pass encoding due to a high bit rate input video.

    When I began always forcing 2 pass VBR mode, I stopped having sync problems unless the file was just poorly encoded.
