    Could any of you explain me the difference between the two types of denoising?, and which one should i use for denoising anime DVD's?

    spatial - uses current frame data only

    temporal - uses data from frames before and after as well

    which one you should use depends on the specific situation and exactly what needs to be done

    I tried using TNLMeans, the result is very nice but it is very slow. Which one should i use for this?

    There is a GPU accelerated version of TNLMeans, NLMeansCL , it's faster

    Experiment and use whatever you want . Your questions are too subjective. Do you like red or green better?

    Some people might prefer noise and grain, some want it super smooth. Some want something in between. It's up to you to decide what you prefer . The more you deonise, the more you predispose to banding along gradients, especially with anime



    One thing for certain, there is aliasing in that screenshot (looks like stair-steppy jaggy edges). It might have been from the way you took that screenshot, or processed the video. If it's part of the video, then you might want to use an anti-aliasing filter
