I have a few MP4 files that are conversions of mpg files which in turn were captured video. The converted MP4 files dont play in VLC. So i have been googling repair mp4 and i found HD Video Repair which sort of repaired on of the files - at least i could hear the audio but the video was unrecognizable. Is there any way to fix these mp4 files? Or can anyone create a new header for the files?
Is the fact that the video is viewable after a run through with HD Video Repair because of the trial limitation?

Start over and recreate them. Far easier.--

Not possible. I deleted the mpgs and only later realized the mp4 files were no viewable.
