Was wondering if there's any good ratio size for me to convert files from WMV / AVI to MKV without losing noticeable quality?
For example I have 4.9gb 720p WMV file and I want to convert it into smaller size (+-2.2gb) so I can put 2 movies on 1dvd but without losing quality, would that be possible?
and is there rule of thumb for this such as WMV to MKV the perfect size would be maybe 50% smaller / even 25% smaller still great, and so on.
also is there a rule of thumb for AVI files?
