pinnacle 16 - displaying circle arrow in preview window

hello,

I loaded one movie into pinnacle 16 and in preview window I got normal frames (pictures) alternating with grey circle arrow on grey background. What does that mean?

I should mention that this video is MBAFF so could it be that pinnacle cannot handle mixed frames? I cannot check with another movie because I own only one like that (the rest are progressive or interlaced)

I'm asking here instead of searching because I'm on very slow connection and googlig whatever is a nightmare.

Can you convert the movie to another format that Pinnacle can handle? Pinnacle is finicky about video formats. Whenever I get the circle arrow it's a format problem.
