Hi,
I'm recording gameplays and I'm editing them with Premiere. So far, I haven't recorded a longer video than a few minutes at once (max ~15-20Gb), but recently I've recorded a over 100Gb video. I couldn't import it into Premiere, even though I could import 10x10Gb files with ease.
How can I handle this issue?

Split it?
Just use an editor that doesn't reconvert, http://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/video-editors-basic -
I've tried that, including VirtualDub. They create a video with some kind of discoloration, usually washed-out colors. In VirtualDub I've tried playing with contrast, yet I couldn't get the desirable result.

Did you use video->direct stream copy in virtualdub?

Direct Stream Copy produces the same file size. I can't upload a 100Gb video to Youtube... Premiere is the only one that is able to process a video without any discoloration and in good quality.

But just split it with virtualdub, set start and stop, save and then import the cuts in Premiere.

Oh, that's a great idea, though takes time. Guess it'll have to do.
Thank you.

If you have several HDDs then try save to another hdd. It should be much faster than saving/copying between same HDD/partition.

Both are low on space, basically I can fit a video per HDD, so that's not possible. But I got around, worked out fine in the end.
