I'm looking to convert several video files overnight using different settings for each video, mostly different bit rates. I prefer using two pass Xvid to convert FLV & MP4 files to AVI.

I'm trying to achieve the best quality possible while getting a consistent file size, usually 175 or 350 MB. Right now, I using FFCoder, but all files use the same settings.

Anyone know of a program that fits the bill?

    Regards...John

Are there only 2 sets of different settings ? If so you can run 2 instances of a program in 2 batch lists

The problem with what you're trying to is "batch" means with 1 set of settings , if you had 100 different settings, you would have to manually queue up each encode (it's a pain and sort of defies the purpose of batching, although you can some programs that have a queue like megui)

You can try video to video converter.

Load/Add all files. Select to avi and adjust video and codec setting for all. You can then double click on each video to adjust settings for each clip, like adjust bitrate

edit: I don't think it can do 2-pass though....
