Help!: MultiCam editing & Split screen in Sony Vegas

Hello everyone! I would like to have the split screen effect applied onto multicam editing mode. I can do the split screen effect when the clips are on there individual tracks. However, when multicam editing is applied, I can't do the split screen anymore because all the clips are on the same track.... Is there a way aroung this?

Is it possible to do the split screen effect in multicam editing mode?

Create a 2nd track, copy the mullticam clip to the 2nd track with the same start+end (aka immediately above) change the cam choice on it to the alt desired angle, then apply the splitscreen effect.
