Newbie needs help with slide shows

Hope this is the right location for this, if not, I apologize. I have digital photos that I would like to turn into a slide show that I can post of a blog or create a youtube video of. I downloaded DVD Slide Show GUI, downloaded my photos, created the transitions & captions, clicked preview and the Media Player window popped up with a black screen and a jumble of red text that really did not make any sense to me.

Does anyone know what went wrong or if there is a better slide show creator out there. I am moderately computer savvy.

What does the red text message say? Maybe some avisynth error.
Have you tried output? Same error?


You could also try photodex proshow. BUt it's not free.

Thanks Baldrick, but I have no idea about avisynth or outputs. I guess I am not experienced enough for this software,

But what is the error? You can also make a screenshot from the window, hit the printscrn key, paste in an photo software, attach it when you post.

And by output I mean that you start convert.
