  3. I don't understand the question. You're converting that file and want to retain the audio quality? Then just copy the existing audio into the new container. Or you're looking for better audio than the audio in that file? Then copy the the original source audio into the new container. Or are you just looking for the best possible audio? Use uncompressed PCM.

    And what do you mean by best? Smallest size? Best audio quality? Widest compatibility?
