  1. Whenever I've used AVC 3.x, I always selected MP4 formats to convert videos to. I have been under the impression that this format was better. Now, with AVC 5, I don't see this option. I only see the option to make DVD movies, and MP2, and AVI, under the "common video format" option for output.

    First, is in fact MP4 a superior output format, when converting from flv or anything else, for that matter, for viewing on a computer?

    Secondly, does the new AVC allow me to convert to the MP4 format?

    What is AVC? Several converters are shortened avc like any video converter but the latest version is only 3....


    Maybe time to try a better and FREE converter like vidcoder, handbrake.
