Play/capture wacky WMV stream

I need to save this news program:

I can play it in Ubuntu Firefox, and it says it's WMP8.
Can't see any way to save it there though.
Can't play it on my Windows PC at all.
How can I save the video in any usable video format?
Either on Ubuntu or Windows.

I use hidownload to record wmv streams, but not free . Many stream download utilities tend to be flash based

If it helps, this is the address, you might be able to download with another utility

If you can't , I can offer to upload it somewhere (35.59MB), but this is very slow download , about 1-2kB/s, will take a few hours from my location (luckily it's a resumable stream)

Actually, some activist friends of mine got on the news.

Thanks, Flashget got it from that rtsp URL, only took 3 minutes.

Can't play it on my Windows PC at all.

WMP11 opens it fine over here. But the playback experience really sucks, because the connection speed is too slow and/or WMP11 sucks much more than WMP 9.

ATV is very much the no. 2 station here, el cheapo in every respect, and their website sucks. But at least in Hong Kong you can get decent connection speed.
