Can some one recommend software for converting and burning to blu ray? I have tried many and cant find what im looking for. I liked AVCHDcoder but on many movies it gets audio convert errors. I Liked avs video converter, but it seems to have a memory leak (cpu constantly running 30 to 100% while selecting menus etc). What I need is to convert mkv mp4 etc to blu ray with creating chapters at every 5 min or so and custom menus that i can change to custom movie jpg. Also shrink to bd-25 . Anyone please suggest i cant try anymore just to find it doesnt do chapters

You can try multiavchd.
I don't know exactly what you mean by "custom menus" though.
Blu-ray menu making can get to be a high dollar affair.
Here is a list of blu-ray authoring progs.
By custom Menu i mean change the background to like any picture i want. AVCHDecoder is exactly what i wanted but it doesn't like many of my videos. I tried MultiAvchd last night to find it locked up an hour into the trans-coding so that ones out. I need a good program that has no bugs!
It sounds like you need to convert and then author to BD.
You may can get the file(s) blu-ray compliant with a converter, then feed it into multiavchd.
Are these files standard def. or high def.?
And according to how they were processed or what source they are from, they might choke in encoders.
Perhaps you could try Freemake and see if it will output the m2ts files. (I haven't tried it but it might work.)
Then...this is important....there are very few blu-ray authoring programs that are freeware and even fewer that will author a menu.
In fact, the 2 you mentioned are the only ones I know of...
How much are you willing to spend on blu-ray authoring?

Mp4 videos are the ones im having trouble with 1080p
How much are you willing to spend on blu-ray authoring? depends on what it will do and if i like it
I use Adobe Premier CS 6 you can edit the video & add Chapter marks where you want them & then import it to Adobe encore DVD with dynamic link the chapter marks will still be where you added them with premiere or you can ad chapter marks in Encore. if the video needs converting encore will do that when you burn the disk. you can use Custom menus also. I use Adobe after effects to create my custom video menus then import them into Encore DVD with Dynamic link & you can set where you want your loop point to be on the menu & add custom button at loop point for seamless loop.
