grainy clips on dim light: denoise suggestion

Hi

I just bought the camcorder. It is quite fine, but unfortunatelly, noise is present on dim light.

All of klips below seem to have the same problem: grain.

Could You suggest some filters/options on denoising.
is it possible to get common set of options for all of them?

What brand and model of camcorder?
What are your intentions for final output? Isn't standard 1920x1080 BluRay or AVCHD interlaced? Your videos are 60 fps progressive.

There are a great many filters and combinations that could be used. Your videos also have some rainbows and a lot of chroma noise. You could try MCTemporalDenoise, DFFTtest, TemporalDeGrain. You couild add GradFun2DBMod to prevent banding during re-encode due to too much de-graining. My first impulse, though, would be to try NeatVideo (Pro edition) as a one-stop solution. Camcorder Denoise would help as well. The color balance of dim3.mkv is entirely wrong.

I want to stay with 60fps progressive,h264/mkv. My main goal is to remove that grainy noise and do it with little reencoding as possible.

Then I take it that standard BluRay disk is not an option, so computer or data disk playback is your intention. Some disk players will play the videos, some will not. In any case: if you filter the video you will have to re-encode.

It's not just noise. Everything in the picture breaks up when it moves, and the edges and details only become clear again when there is no movement.

You can easily put all the low light footage through the same denoiser (e.g. mdegrain3), but beware that the result may look very strange, or like plastic.

I ran some of the lowlight stuff with NeatVideo Pro Ed (demo model v3.3, which actually went pretty fast on my AMD quad core. Note that the half-price Home Edition only handles up to about 1240x720 frames). The Pro Ed. gave a sharper image than Avisynth's heavy hitters, but had to use very low power and make 2 runs. But as 2Bdecided has noted, panning a hand held camera too fast in dim light (or in any light) is something that amateurs need to learn to avoid. Even pro's have problems with it.
