For some that might be an improvement over having the original text there but I don't believe its worth the time and possible reduction of video quality to do it.
You'll have to be more specific about what you want to do with the sound. You can amplify the sound but you also have to be realistic about what you can do with home video. Remember this wasn't done in a movie studio with multiple cameras and multiple microphones. You can't magically edit it to make it a slick production if you have poor quality to start with.
Granted you can make some improvements but it takes a lot of work and may end up softening the overall video which might not be what you want. IN the end you may make matters worse.
I'm not trying to discourage you from trying. I just want you to realize that you can't make it look like a studio produced film from a handy cam video from more than twenty years ago. (now if you happen to have other assets like video from a second camera that was used at the same time and other audio sources like a tape recorder - audio that is - than you might be able to do some more fancy editing but I'm assuming you only have this single source to work with).Donatello - The Shredder? Good advice, yoda313. I would politely advise masochist to make use of Google Translate to help with language problems. Many members from various countries do this. English speakers tend to write long sentences, and they use words and phrases that can't be taken literally after translation .
I will echo yoda313's advice. Removing a logo or date-time stamp would look worse than the original video. If you use VirtualDub and its filters you would not have to write code to correct color or reduce noise. According to the computer specifications in your profile, the computer might be barely adequate but will be very slow. In any case, the video would have to be re-encoded.Our inventions are wont to be pretty toys, which distract our attention from serious things. sorry for my bad english thanks for answer yoda313 and sanlyn I will to learn to write code
If you really want to remove the date cleanly, you'll have to make an accurate mask of the data, rather than just attacking the whole rectangle area that contains the writing. What I mean is, create an image that has only the letters and numbers of the date in it. Then use this with a delogo filter or a video inpainting filter to replace the exact areas with the writing with a guess of what should be there.
The result will not be perfect. Sometimes it will be OK, other times it will be terrible. It may not be worth it. delogo creates a blurred replacement area. inpaint creates a sharp but not always correct replacement area.
Hope this helps,
