Disc tray problems on Panasonic DMR EH-67 DVD Recorder

I have some problems with the disc tray on my Panasonic DMR EH-67 DVD recorder which have occured more frequently lately.

When opening the tray to insert a disc or remove a disc the tray closes automatic just by a slight touch on the tray and without using the open/close button, risking damaging the disc surface.

Have anyone had similar problems like this with Panasonic recorders and how do I solve this annoying problem?,thanks.
