I've been using clips from my GoProHD2 on the timeline in Vegas 7.0a by first converting them to AVI using MP4Cam2AVI. I just downloaded Vegas Pro 12......and guess what, it can't import the gopro AVI clips.

    I don't have the original goPro mp4s...

    Any ideas ?

vegas 7 is 32 bit and vegas 12 is 64 bit only. you may need a 64 bit version of the avi codec they are encoded to.

I think you can use the free version of Cineform to do that also. It is optimized for Go Pro files.

  5. MP4cam2avi only rewrappes video to avi container, inside there is H.264, I'd try to install ffdshow 64bit first.
