HTML FRAMESET: Where to put Site Tracker Code??

Discovered that frames are poison to site trackers, so I'm going a different route. End of that story.

I am modifying a personal web-site to run using frames created with HTML FRAMESET. Regarding the Site Tracking Code I use from two services (SiteMeter, eXtreme), where on the index.html page should such code go -- within the HEAD, BODY or the Main FRAMESET area??
