    I have an LG GGC-H20L Combo drive. It suddenly slowed ripping to a crawl. Now taking 3-4 hours to rip a BR disk and about 50 minutes to rip a DVD. Any ideas?

    MJA is referring to the drive going into PIO. This usually happens after trying to read a scratched disk or one on bad media. See this for an explanation and a fix: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/817472
