I'm currently using Cyberlink but it seems like a junk. Every time I start up, it always tell me it needs to update, then it fails and blames internet connection. Since I am able to connect to this site fine, (and I can connect to Cyberlink web site fine as well) I'm pretty sure my internet connection is not the problem. I also dislike moovie feature and they didn't offer an easy way to disable the pop up bar that shows either suggestions that doesn't make sense (like suggesting Wizard of Oz when I am watching Aliens) or a large blank box with internet problem. I don't know if my ISP is blocking something such as certain port that Cyberlink uses for updating and moovie while not blocking plain http port?

plus Cyberlink seems to have a hard time resuming plain DVD where I left off. Windows Media Player has no problem with DVD resuming and that one comes free with Windows so it seems asinine that a $75 program can't have a working resume option? :/ maybe something's misconfigured but I couldn't find where to enable" always resume DVD". It has no problem resuming on BD that supports the feature.

    I'd like something that:
always resumes DVD and supported BD
doesn't have annoying pop up feature like moovie
doesn't have problem with internet for update. Some ISP are known to block ports to discourage illegal file sharing, so program with update feature should be using the more common port

    Windows 7, 64 bits, Intel i5 CPU, 8GB RAM.

  3. How about a free one.
Don't give in to DVD2ONE, that leads to the dark side.

I haven't seen anyone free with FULL menu support.

But you can use mpchc or vlc and open the BDMV folder.
