Ok I have 19.6 GB of tutorial files that I need to convert/compress. Even though it says its 19.6 GB in actual the total running time is only about 8 Hrs.

Now I want to preserve the quality because there is lot of text in the video that i must be able to read later. Is there a video converter/encoder that can convert it to mp4 using h264? Also can the encoder use my gfx card or all of my processors to speed up the process?

Is there a encoder that can use everything like gfx all the processor and onboard graphics?

Please reply as soon as you can.

If you want to use your gfx card(NVIDIA CUDA) can you try mediacoder, freemake video converter . But the quality may not be as good as using software only encoders like x264.

x264 encoders/frontends, for example Handbrake, Vidcoder, Tencoder, etc. I would use constant quality encoding and try a convert a short sample and see how it looks like.
