    Hello,

I muxed .srt subtitles in a .mp4 with YAMB and ended up with two different results depending on what media player I was using (and I was using only 2 of them).
So after I muxed the subs in, they appear fine in VLC (see attachment), while they are doubled with or without plain text in MPC (see attachement). As I'm using both players and that it's the 1st time I ever see that kind of doubled list in the subtitles tab of MPC, I was wondering why it appeared so and how I could remove each first subtitle (as well as getting rid of the "GPAC [...] plain text" tag ideally).

Anyone of you ever saw that before / know where it could come from and how it could be fixed..?

    Thanks!

Self-answer: The key is to mux .idx subtitles' files instead of .srt.

For instance to use VSRip to rip subs out of .ifo files, then to mux the outcoming .idx file in Yamb with the video/audio files...et voilą! Only 1 line/language left in MPC this time, and that is the plain text one as hoped.
