I just got done shrinking the movie Resident evil' damnation from a BD25 to DVD-9 with BDRebuilder, The final result ended at 4.73 GB, Is this normal because a dvd-9 is 8.5 Gb or did I do something wrong since this is my first try at doing this.

  2. Perhaps you selected DVD5 size instead of dvd9?

No, I doubled checked and did it again, But if I did choose DVD5 then the file would be to large to fit on a DVD5.

Every now and then we get a post on DVD-RB getting all weird on the size of the file it produces, but I don't recall anybody having an answer for it. There's an option in setup to set the file size so my suggestion is that you put a larger value there than it currently contains and re-run DVD-RB and hope for the best.

Thanks jman98, I'm happy with the result of the movie, Just was curious why the file was so small for doing a DVD9, thought I was doing something wrong.
