Hey I'm a 19 year old music student, and I have a random question.
What I want to do is take all of my educational videos and chop them all up, and to have an end product that Is a full movie of sections of educational stuff I would like to practice, a practice videobook if you will.
I was wondering Is there a really simple way I can do this as well as being able to slow down the clips, there are some things that I want to learn to play that are much too fast to learn straight away.
Thank you very much for your response in advanced I really appreciate your time guys!
    Regards, Andrew Kavanagh.
P.S feel free to email me an answer to this post!

And I'm moving you to a new thread.

If your source is several dvds you might consider try TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works (trial). It can cut out from dvds,blu-rays (and many other formats) and you can also add filters like adjust the speed(slow down it).

You also didn't specify how you're going to play it. If you do it on your computer, with the right player you can play at half speed without altering pitch.

I will be using DVDs and to play back I will probably just be using my computer.
