Don't have any idea if this is true, but there is a report that Pixbyte has stumbled upon a way around Cinavia.
Pixbyte makes DVDRanger and DVDneXt Copy software, and they intend to offer this new anti-Cinavia section on their DVDRanger software at the end of October.

Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

I know nothing about this company and their products and remain skeptical, but we'll see.

So does that mean that for the other 45% there was no solution? -

That's how I read it, and after all, there aren't many discs with Cinavia (not yet!).
