I have 1 mp4 file with idx/sub subtitles, and i want to convert to DVD format with the subtiles.
I cannot convert to srt, because there are 'errors' on the idx files or there are characters that the program doesn't recognize.

Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

It depends on what format of subs your authoring program accepts. For example, you can convert them instantly to SUP format using SubtitleCreator and those will be accepted as input by Muxman or IFOEdit for authoring. I don't know of any authoring program that accepts VobSubs as input. DVDLab Pro, maybe?
