    Hello all,

I am trying to figure out the best way to get a blu ray movie ripped and then burned to a 25gb bd-r. So far the best way I have found is using makemkv and ripping the video file from the disc and being left with a single mkv file, then use tsmuxer and author the file and burn with imgburn. However when I open the mkv with tsmuxer I get an error "some tracks not recognized" and I cannot convert to bluray standard structure.

    What should I do? thanks...

PS. Here is a mediaInfo tree view:

You could try avchdcoder, bdtoavchd or multiavchd instead. But I guess they also use tsmuxer so you might get problem.

Or maybe better, rip the blu-ray to your hdd with dvdfab decrypter or anydvd hd and then use clown_Bd to rip out the main movie.

Demux the MKV with MKVExtractGUI-2 and then remux with tsmuxer.

    That's what I'd recommend.

To the OP: I'm curious about a few points.

    1) Are you saying you can't over-ride the error message? I see a similar error with TS captures sometimes, such as "this track not recognized". But I can close it and carry on.

    2) I forget, can MakeMKV rip to folder/files, rather than an MKV?

    3) Tried de-selecting all subtitles? Just to see if the problem may lie there. When I tested earlier versions, I often had trouble with subs, and from looking at the comments section, I'm not alone.

    4) Tried ripping with only one audio and one subtitle track?
    Pull! Bang! Darn!

    1) If I leave the error message up it appears to keep working, but as soon as I click the error off it ends.

    2) I dont see any options to make folder/files.

    3) Will test now

    4) Will test now

I cant seem to get the other two suggestions working either. The programs seem to think my mkv is not bluray compliant and the iso rip I have does not show up on clown bd...

  6. You mounted the ISO on a virtual drive first, right? But it's not necessary anyway. Run AnyDVDHD in the background and open the disc directly in Clown_BD. It will automatically select main movie for you.

I just tried running clown bd and had my pre ripped .iso mounted with vcd. Everything ran smooth until it got to the Tsmuxer part of the encoding and it failed... I just can't seem to get ts muxer to work!!!

    Here is a basic picture:

  8. In Clown_BD, did you have it set to copy audio, extract core, or re-encode to AC3?

All I can think of at the moment is to update your ripper and try again.

To tell you the truth I have no idea, probably just set it to default... I'm new to the blu ray scene. Just got a blu ray writer yesterday so I'm about 24hrs into this... If you have another suggestion on how to get a one for one blu ray movie to bd-r "no need for menus" I'll be glad to learn...

    Thanks...

    UPDATE:

    GOT IT!!!

Just used dvdfab and it output the bdmv and certificate folders and burned with imgburn!

As I am very new to this I would still take any tips.

    Cheers
