  1. Hey,
My problem is this...I can capture just video without any problems, but as soon as I try to capture video and audio thru a composite connection I get scratchy audio. No frames are dropped, just the audio is of very poor quality, it does not sound like its skipping or popping tho. Capture resolution or audio bitrate does not make a differance.
Capturing from dvd or an svideo connection is perfect tho...maybe its the composite connection, or maybe a hardware issue...any ideas would be much appreciated.

    My system
    AMD xp1800+
GF3 ti200 with Video In ( my capture card )
    256meg DDR
    SB Live! Value

    thanks.

Are some captures using left hand channel out, and your recording on the right hand channel in? and DVD is Stereo so that will be fine ?
