I recently bought the HP Elitebook 8570w. It has no HDMI port but it does have a DP++ port. I want to connect my laptop to my TV and watch movies so i bought a displayport to HDMI cable wich supports video and audio. When i connect my laptop to my TV, the video works fine but im not getting any audio through.
I have a NVIDIA Quadro K1000M.
Driver version 8.17.12.9703
win 7 64bit
I have googled on this problem and it seems im not the only one.. but i still haven't found out how to solve my problem. I will be very happy if someone can help me here!
When connected:
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Nvidia drivers while the TV is plugged in. Sometimes the driver that allows audio output to the DVI or DP output isn't properly installed if there is audio capable device there at install time.
