I'm Running Windows Vista and Use Avi Files mostly. I need a program that can do PIP and is free. I've been trying to use Jahshaka but I need to be able to do PIP and cut the videos to sync up the audio and I can't figure out how to.

  2. Blender can do PiP, even with motion tracking.

    export to lossless format

cut/edit with avidemux or virtualdub (audio/video direct stream copy)
I love it when a plan comes together!

I haven't used it in years (XP version) and couldn't remember if it allowed 2 video tracks. I've been using the free version of Lightworks lately.

    LightWorks seems to be popular.
