With a limited budget, & concern for good audio, what equipment would be best for live recording seminars for later YouTube/web display?

  2. To get some useful answers, consider giving the forum more detail about the seminars.

Seminar size? Duration? Venue/location? Topic? Typical AV used, if any, during the seminar (that the video equipment would have to monitor and display, say, by pan-and-scan)? Multi-camera setup? Level of user expertise? More than one videographer involved per seminar? Produce post-seminar DVDs?

    Etc., etc.

What you've asked is a little like asking what city to recommend for a meeting: Too many variables and unanswered questions to consider to generate any response.

Ahh, well, the seminars are in the planning stages. Initially we do not expect to need any sound system. Small groups of maybe 5-30, from a few hours to a day, but broken up into distinct segments. The topic is tapping, a kind of psychological healing technique. Lvl of expertise is amateur, I've only helped do some video blogs before. 1 videographer & I have some experience with Vegas movie studio.

    Does this help?
