  1. I get the "Printer not responding" message when I try to print. Once I hooked it up to the USB port it would print (Under a different printer name (copy1)). I don't know what changed on my end that suddenly it stopped printing wirelessly. I don't print often.

I went through the troubleshoot and got it as default printer and printer sharing. I disabled my AV and anything else I thought might interfere with it. Now I'm thinking I should just uninstall everything and re-install to see if I can get it to work...but what a PAIN...

    Any ideas?

Might be the printer address changed, delete the printer in control panel devices and printers and add it again as a wireless printer.

    Most likely.

The router will give devices connecting to it random IP numbers, but the printer settings expects a fixed one.
So you have to make your router give the printer the same IP each time.

You need to connect to your router to fix this.
Look at the manual for the router for details, which depend on the model.
Mine for instance has its config at http://192.168.11.1, others often are http://192.168.0.1
You may need a password, the default will be in the manual, or maybe on a sticker on the router.

Then you need to find something like "LAN settings", "DHCP"

    Here is my page.
The "DHCP pool" is the range of addresses controlled by the router.
"Excluded addresses" are in that range, but ones not allocated randomly. These are ones I choose for my devices, my PC, laptops, phones, printers.

The "Current DHCP Client Information" shows what is now connected.
My printer is the last one,
    IP: 192.168.11.8 MAC: 00:10:83:73:3D:00
You can work out which is which by turning the device off and seeing what changes here.

I used the "Manual assignment" to give my printer the fixed IP 192.168.11.8
It's identified by the MAC, a hardware serial number.

If you're not comfortable playing with your router, you may need to get someone to help set this up.
Then the printer will always have the same IP and so your printer settings will always work.
