    i am looking for a way to convert videos that are placed in a certaindirectory to mp4 for uploading to youtube
    We are creating lots of dv avis for broadcast
    Right now we export 1 dv avi and one mp4, but i believe there must be an easier way to convert the dv's to mp4's

    sorenson squeeze has the functionality you're looking for. It will compress to multiple formats (and I'm pretty sure upload to YT) from a watch folder.
