What settings do I need to capture 50 Hz noninterlaced video in FCP ?
Unfortunately there is no camera model I can give you.
But this is an old (2002-3) device with a camera build in from which I would like to grab the video.
So this is non ew fancy 60p, 30p 24p camera.
If I capture it with regular CVBS, it is a messed up image (it seems the fields are messed up).
It would be very useful to know how I could reconstruct the original 50 Hz non-interlaced video out of this mess.
At least if this is possible and what approach would be promising.

    Thanks.

  2. Probably not if it's a 2002-2003 device.

In 2002/3 most likely it's DV and outputs interlaced signal - you can only record whatever signal is fed into the capture device

Exactly what do you mean when you say "it seems the fields are messed up?"

Provide more information on the camera model, capture device & settings and you might get better replies.
