  1. i am trying to convert mts files to avi\mp4.. by using Format Factory. time after the the convert ends stressful but with no sound i been trying different quality.
    what i am doing wrong? how i need to set the settings?

    Give more details.
    What are you converting to? Video and audio codec.
    What is the video source mts details? Video and audio codec. You can check with mediainfo if you don't know.

    Or try another converter like freemake video converter, handbrake, etc.

  3. i am not sure that i am understand this question: "What are you converting to? Video and audio codec."? i want to make the MTS file to a AVI file or MP4 something smaller... the file is video and audio..

    Try then handbrake. Convert to a mp4. Under the video tab can you adjust the quality/bitrate settings to get smaller size.
